Meet Lisa & 2026 Arctic Expeditions Revealed

Meet the Newest Member of the Wild Earth Team

We’re thrilled to officially welcome Lisa Dixon to the Wild Earth family!

A longtime friend and frequent Wild Earth Explorer (15 expeditions and counting!), Lisa now joins the team in a new role supporting trip logistics and guest relations. While she may be a bit on the quiet side, don’t let that fool you—Lisa is unmistakably Australian, with a spirit for adventure and a lifelong devotion to the natural world.

Her two primary passions – the environment and exploring, were born in her childhood years on family camping holidays across the diverse landscapes of Australia. With a Masters of Environmental Science, she has dedicated her entire working life to protecting the natural freshwater, marine and land environments in her home state of Victoria, Australia.

In her spare time, Lisa travels whenever and wherever she can - near and far, over and under - to maintain a strong connection with nature and explore the unique and special experiences this world has to offer. Now “retired” from the workforce, Lisa is excited to help shape future journeys and ensure every Wild Earth expedition is smooth, meaningful, and memorable. We're so grateful to have her expertise, calm presence, and love of nature on board.

Welcome, Lisa!
